One of my favourite things to do each week is to 'sage the house' or also known as 'smudging'.

I light The White Sage Smudge Stick with a match and wait for the head of sage to catch alight and then it starts to smoke. I walk from room to room wafting the aroma and smoke of the sage through my house.

I spend about a minute in each room and once I have done all the rooms I stubb out the stick, usually into a small bowl and wait for when I need to use it again. When not in use I keep it in a dry spot in a decorative box on my coffee table.

Sounds kinda crazy, but if I have had a bad day, the first thing I reach for is The White Sage Smudge Stick - to rid the heaviness and bad energy of an unpleasant experience, person or object of negative energy away.

For centuries white sage has been considered a sacred, cleansing and protective plant. 'Smudging' is a cleansing ritual used to neutralise a space and it's a really calming and nurturing ritual to do often which purifies the air in our homes.
