I came across this slide comb on my travels and fell in love with the nostalgic charm of it.

I twist my hair into a bun and slide the comb in to secure it. The comb keeps the bun in place, but lets loose wisps of hair fall down and softly frame your face.

I also use it to get my messy, soft waves.

Since using this comb and quitting hair bands my hair has become thicker, as its no longer in a tangle due to hair bands.

After I wash my hair I twist my hair into a bun while it's still damp. If you let it dry naturally then take out the comb and run your fingers gently through your hair you'll have loose waves. Perfect for a relaxed bed-head look.

Please note this slide comb is not made from real tortoiseshell, it is simply the pattern and colours of tortoiseshell.
