The Marigold Fringed Linen Napkins

I love using linen napkins as both practical objects on the table and also as decorative features. They add a beautiful texture and positive splash of colour to even the most pared back table.

I designed these napkins in vibrant marigold linen, the sunniest of colours. They were inspired by my Saturday afternoons at our island home, just as the sun is setting and the sky erupts in a golden marigold colour.

I also added a fringed edge detail which make the napkins feel playful and joyous on the table. They can be used daily or kept in the special drawer to bring out on occasions, either way a linen napkin on the table says ‘I care about you’ to either your loved ones or guests.

Our collection of linen napkins is made from weighted marigold linen, the moment you feel the weight across your lap you relax, making even the simplest dining moments at home special.

Washing and Drying your Linen - For regular cleaning, we recommend a warm and gentle hand or machine wash with a mild detergent (no bleach or detergent with optical brighteners). Washing your linen with high temperatures can cause shrinkage and weaken the natural fibres.

Avoid soaking linens for more then 10 minutes. We recommend air-drying your linen where possible for a softer, more superior finish.

Ironing Your Linen - Natural linens are designed to have a soft, textured finish after washing. Creases and wrinkles are all part of the beauty and magic of pure linen! However if you do wish to iron or press your linen, we recommend using a medium-hot iron while the material is still damp for best results.
