I collect French bottles which have been woven in split cane. I adore the interest the texture of the cane creates and it doesn’t matter in what condition the cane is in.

I find they are such interesting objects and the honesty of the materials makes them attractive vessels to display on a shelf or mantle, grouped together or on their own.

I use mine as bud vases, especially when a rogue gardenia snaps off from the garden.

Can fit perfectly on a narrow shelf, mantle, bedside table or beside the sink in the kitchen or bathroom.
