This is one of the most beautiful flower books you will ever see, photographed by iconic photographer Irving Penn in the 1970s in New York.

I love to include vintage books on the coffee table at home, stacked high with my favourite covers on top and on side tables and bedsides to add dimension and beauty.

Irving Penn’s ‘Flowers’ is one such book which never leaves my coffee table. I actually have two copies, one for our mainland house and one for the island house. Whenever I see a copy I like to buy it as they are hugely collectable. 

Tip: I love to open this book and have my favourite page open on the coffee table, then after a week or so, flip to another page. The artfulness of this book sets such an atmosphere within your home.
