Takes me back in time
Posted by Lori on 15th May 2016
I often have a very visceral response to Kara's photographs, this one even more so. It takes me back in time to summers spent at my grandmother's ranch on the central coast of California. Playing in her beautiful blooming garden and apple orchards, helping with chores such as hanging freshly washed laundry out to dry, bare feet digging into the warm earth. I look at this photo and can almost smell the hydrangeas and gardenias, hear the running nearby creek, and smell the fog rolling off the sea up into the apple orchard. I have this print and I love it. Who knew laundry could be so lovely?! Kara did.
I work with a local professional art framer to finish your new fine art print in my signature style - unstained Tasmanian Oak with a traditional mat board.
Lightweight museum grade acrylic is used to ensure that your framed fine art print is installed easily and does not require a professional hanging service.
Once you have received your framed artwork, it is ready to hang.
Your new fine art print is finished by using an archival museum grade 3-inch white mat border. Please note: Extra Large sized prints are printed edge to edge and come framed without a mat.
Your framed artwork leaves the framer within 14 business days, shipped securely in a custom made wooden travel box.
The dimensions below refer to the finished size of the framed artwork.
